Courses offered in the Science Department at Bramalea include general sciences for the junior grades and biology, chemistry and physics for the senior grades. The general science course offers a survey of all the science disciplines. New this year we also offer two senior courses in science that also survey all the disciplines, and a grade 11 workplace science course. When choosing science courses it is important to refer to the flow chart in the course guidelines as the different courses are directed towards different destinations and may have specific prerequisites. There are 10 full time science teachers at Bramalea, and a number of teachers in other departments who teach one or two science sections. The science department prides itself on being involved in all facets of Bramalea life...whether its coaching teams, working with the Student Activity Council or organizing the Bramalea Outdoor Club.
