During the week of April 21-25, 2003 Bramalea had a variety of events
celebrating success for education week. Among them was a visit by Lawrence
Hill, a Canadian author addressing issues of writing and multiculturalism.
He spoke to social science and English classes. The English department had
a poetry 'slam' - a competition, attended by hundreds. The Technical
department displayed their hand-made cars and catapults. The art
department had a display of student art work.
